If you own the property free and clear, great. If you have a mortgage or not, be able to provide information that applies to your situation. Below are a few questions to get you started.
Do you know your mortgage balance?
Is this a Commercial or Residential Property
(More or less than 4 Units)?
Monthly mortgage payments?
Mortgage payment options?
What Lender holds your mortgage?
Is your mortgage assumable?
Would the lender make it assumable if you asked?
Is your mortgage scheduled for an interest increase (adjustment)?
Is your mortgage Fixed or an ARM or a private note?
How much are your annual taxes? Are they paid up? For how long?
Tax due dates(s)?
Rent Roll?
Monthly/Annual income from the Property?
Any recent inspections? Repair lists?
Any governmental or environmental violations?
Foreclosure notices?
Expense List
Etc.
Please be able to provide receipts or proof of the above facts.
